It is with thanks to our friend Michael Nickel that we can bring you these long-lost pictures of Pink Floyd in action at Earls Court, London, in May 1973. They were performing there as part of the Dark Side Of The Moon tour, to much acclaim, and these pictures were in an old German magazine called
"Pop". To view larger versions of all these, simply click on the pictures and a window will open with bigger versions.
In an update to this, the photo of David with the maple neck on the guitar, silver volume knob, wearing a George Washington university shirt with a hole in the arm with the silver drum kit in the background - is from the February 1972 Dark Side Of The Moon shows at the London Rainbow Theatre.
Our thanks to Michael Nickel for sharing these pictures with us.
