2009 version of DSOTM trianglesThe various Amazon online stores across the world have tapped into music lovers' desire to share their enthusiasm with others by creating 'Listmania', in which customers compile their own lists of favourites and post them on the site.

Now, EMI Records have teamed up with Amazon.com to create a competition, the prize for which is a print by Storm Thorgerson, personally dedicated to the winner. The print is the new version of his 'Triangles' design, which takes the triangle/prism motif from The Dark Side Of The Moon and illustrates recurring triangle shapes in various settings - some classic versions of the cover, some very silly (such as the samosa with a blob of mango chutney!). This is an updated version of the poster which came with the vinyl edition of the 30th anniversary DSOTM (still available to buy through this link). The new version features eight different panels to the 2003 version.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of this prize, is to create and publish a list on Amazon.com (you will need an Amazon account) and send the list to: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , along with your name and contact email. One winner will be selected at random; the contest ends and all entries must be in by July 31st, 2009.
