Brit Floyd - Scott Page guesting, Los AngelesScott Page, former saxophonist and rhythm guitar player for Pink Floyd in the late 1980s, joined the tribute band Brit Floyd at The Wiltern, in Los Angeles, California this past June 24th. Page, who has also performed with Supertramp and Toto, made a surprise appearance during the band’s 2015 tour, sent a tweet out expressing his enthusiasm for the gig:

"Fun night playing with @BritFloyd in LA. Amazing @pinkfloyd tribute band, just like the real thing, felt like I was back on stage with Floyd"

The tweet, which can be at this link, includes some video footage of his performance with the band. Page performed Money with the band as well as part of Shine On You Crazy Diamond.

Page is co-founder and current CEO and president of “artist accelerator” Ignited Network. He recently sat down with Dom Famularo of The Sessions Panel Artists Series to discuss his work in the music industry and work with Ignited Network. You can watch the interview here; the series share "music industry knowledge" with musicians covering elements of "entertainment law, marketing, networking, artist relations and motivational skills" through the lens and "experiences from professionals and experts who have been 'on the road' and are successful in the industry."

Brit Floyd is wrapping up the first leg of its US tour – they return for a second leg of the tour in November, but any more guest appearances by former Pink Floyd touring band members is of course, extremely unlikely!
