Tomorrow, April 27th, the 2012 Roger Waters The Wall Live tour starts its final leg, opening at Foro Sol in Mexico City for the first of two nights there. As you'll see from the great picture, kindly supplied by our friend, BD regular Emmanuel Quiroz and taken by Fernando Aceves (and shown on the Brain Damage Facebook page yesterday), preparations have been ongoing in the city for the show which we know many are eagerly awaiting.
As it stands, this leg of the show represents the final Wall shows. It takes in some 41 shows in Mexico, Canada and the US, concluding in Philadelphia on July 14th. If you are going to any of the shows, have a fantastic time, and do please let us know your thoughts on the shows, share any pictures, ticket scans, and anything else of interest. . We've provided coverage (pictures, reviews, videos, etc.) of EVERY Wall concert since they started in September 2010, and we want to continue this in style - so your help is invaluable!
Finally, we've had a few emails asking what progress has been made on the official DVD release of The Wall Live. Most of you will know that the show was recorded last year in Athens; this year further filming has taken place in Buenos Aires, presumably additional footage for the eventual release. As yet, no dates or other details are available but rest assured, as things get firmed up on this front, we'll bring you all the information.
