As I'm sure most of you are fully aware, the 2013 Roger Waters The Wall Live tour starts in three days time, on Thursday at the Gelredome, Arnhem in The Netherlands.
From feedback we've already had, a significant number of you are going to at least one of the shows on this upcoming tour, and that's where you can help us out! We like to be able to give the Floyd community as much information and opinion as possible for each show, so... if you are going, please let us know what you thought of the show, any pictures or video you might have, details of any local TV news reports and so on. We're also still after ticket scans for the following shows: 23rd July, Split / 7th August, Prague / 14th & 15th August, Oslo / 17th August, Gothenburg / 14th September, Wembley. If you have your ticket for any of these, we'd love to include a small picture or scan of it on the relevent showpage. We'll obscure any identifying detail on the ticket for your protection.
We will, of course, also be including contributions from our friend, Simon Wimpenny. Simon, of course, has been on a bit of a mission with the previous Wall shows, attending a staggering number of them and reporting back accordingly. With his familiarity with the show, he's in an excellent position to identify changes (or even issues) with the production, and we appreciate greatly his generosity at sharing his insights. Make sure you check out Simon's excellent blog at SimonWimpenny.blogspot.com where you'll find full details of all his travels, along with more pictures and videos. In the meantime, to give you a flavour, to the right there's a shot (click the thumbnail) from his latest blog entry of preparations at the Gelredome, where rehearsals start today ready for Thursday's show...
