Prog Rock Roger Waters article, July 2010In the new issue of Classic Rock Presents Prog Rock, a regular special issue from the monthly Classic Rock publishers, is an interview with Roger Waters [click thumbnail, right] about the forthcoming Wall concerts.

Roger ponders the message that The Wall could bring to audiences. "It may be that this piece can provide a talking point or rallying cry. With information technology, we get the chance now to understand each other's predicaments across international and idealogical borders and I think it's an opportunity that we haven't had before."

In the article, they note that "Waters intimates [that the original Wall concerts] are soon to be released on DVD", and has him pondering future plans: "I can't see myself doing this when I'm 80. Although that's only 14 years away. I'm 66 years old now and this is a big undertaking. I wouldn't say this is my farewell tour, but I do have to wonder what else I might do. I shall certainly go on working but whether I'll do any more big tours, I don't know."
