Whilst we're sure you don't need reminding, the long awaited and highly anticipated 2015
editions of Roger Waters' 1992 album, Amused To Death, which come in a
variety of editions, all boasting new artwork and packaging, will be finally with us on Friday (July 24th). As part of our coverage of this release, we are very pleased to let you know that, on that day, we will be posting an interview with a key person behind this release - and will also be offering a very rare and collectable prize as well!
The various iterations of the album are
sure to be popular. Since news broke about James Guthrie's work on the
album, demand to hear the surround version of ATD has been extremely
high - with just one public airing at the Princeston university
conference covered elsewhere on our site.
As a reminder, the 2015 editions of Amused to Death will be available in a variety of formats, as seen below.
The CD + Blu-ray edition, and the SACD edition, of Amused To Death both features the new 5.1 surround remix of the album in high definition. The artwork and packaging has been updated for 2015 by Sean Evans, the creative director of Waters' 2010-2013 The Wall Live tour and movie. The standard CD edition, as well as the vinyl editions, feature the newly remastered stereo mix of the album.
