Pink Floyd's official Facebook page are this week canvassing the opinion of fans around the world. As we all know, the band have played some very notable concerts over the years. A number of fans (including a few of us from BD) have deliberated on this to come up with a shortlist of ten key shows, selected on the basis of great performances, or for being significant for various reasons, and they'd like you to vote on them to determine the show that you would most like to have attended (or the best gig you did attend, if you were so lucky!).
They are asking for you to rank their top 10 in order; all 10 will be listed and you will be able
to drag and drop them into your own preferred 1-10, and then submit it. You've got until Friday (October 14th) to do this, and as part of this, they have a prize up for grabs of a signed Wish You Were Here fine art print for one lucky entrant in their "check-in challenge".
For more details, and to see the shortlist and vote, visit the Floyd Facebook page and click on the Wish You Were Here tab on the left hand side, or click here to go directly to it.
UPDATE: Voting has now closed and on Monday (October 17th) the gig which ended in tenth place was announced...the Royal Festival Hall, April 14th 1969 show. The Facebook app shares pictures, music, the set list and other information about this concert - and will do for the rest of the top ten as and when they all get announced.
