Posted this afternoon by the Pink Floyd Facebook account is some news of an upcoming television show that might be of interest.
They note: "US TV crime series Cold Case occasionally creates themed episodes featuring songs from one artist and in March it will be Pink Floyd's turn. Broadcast in the US at 9PM on Sunday March 14th, the episode will include extracts of seven songs: Comfortably Numb, Hey You, Mother, Marooned, Wish You Were Here, Time and The Thin Ice. Please check local listings for broadcasts outside of US."
Songs played in each episode generally come from the year the crime took place, with some notable exceptions where the soundtrack features a particular artist or theme instead of a year - as with the upcoming Pink Floyd episode. Other single artist shows have focused on the music of Frank Sinatra, Nirvana, U2, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Bruce Springsteen.
The show is aired in the US on CBS, and in selected countries (including the UK, the Netherlands, Argentina, Chile, Hungary and Spain). Our thanks to Bill Haun and James for the info.
