The Pink Floyd Records vinyl reissue programme started on June 3rd, with the release of the first four albums - The Piper At The Gates of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets, More and Ummagumma - and immediately drew plaudits from purchasers as to the quality of these 180 gram pressings.
Continuing the programme are The Wall and The Division Bell, both available from August 26th, and both being 2-LP editions with gatefold sleeves. They have been mastered from the original analogue tapes and pressed on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl as with the other titles. The Division Bell restores the full running time of all tracks over 2-LPs - the original vinyl release had the album edited to fit onto a single LP - and the sleeve includes additional stone/metal head pictures.
With mastering by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman, the records will be manufactured and distributed by Warner Music for the UK and Europe and by Sony Music for North America and the rest of the world.
With many of you out there committed vinyl enthusiasts, we're sure these will be very popular releases. Here are the ordering links - using these will give a small but vital contribution to the running costs of Brain Damage, without costing you a penny/cent extra, and we really appreciate it!
