As part of the 42nd Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal, Canada this month, a set of free outdoor film screenings have been arranged.

There are four films in all, being held in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles every night from Thursday, October 10th to Saturday, October 12th at 7pm and Sunday, October 13th at 6.30pm. For Floyd fans who are able to attend on Thursday, October 10th, there's a special treat. Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii is being screened, and with a very special guest presenting it: director Adrian Maben.

This will be the same restored version of the 1974 cut of the film that was screened at the Cinematheque Francaise in Paris earlier this year, so not an event to miss, especially with Adrian to present it.
