A pink Honda VF500 motorbike formerly owned by Nick Mason is to be auctioned by Bonham's at the International Classic Motorcycle Show in Stafford on April 24th, 2011, to raise funds for the appropriately named Think Pink Scotland.
Think Pink Scotland are currently fundraising to build a breast cancer laboratory within the Beatson Translational Research Centre in Glasgow. Current owner Tony Huck kindly donated the motor bike to Think Pink Scotland on hearing about the funds that they generate for breast cancer research. Think Pink Scotland founder Lynn Murray said "We were thrilled to receive the Honda and I am hopeful that Pink Floyd enthusiasts will dig deep for a great cause".
If you wish to support the charity go to www.beatsonpebbleappeal.org. If you need more info, or wish to bid for the Honda, information will be available on www.bonhams.com prior to the sale. At time of writing, the catalogue is not yet available online.
