Elvis Presley's Mercedes-Benz 600 limo, the 1936 Rolls-Royce Phantom III seen in "Pan's Labyrinth", and the 1934 Lagonda M45 Tourer owned by Nick Mason are three of the stand out lots in Bonhams "Important Motor Cars and Fine Automobilia" sale, which takes place tomorrow (December 6th) at Mercedes-Benz World, at Brooklands in Surrey.
Nick's Lagonda has had five owners since new. The four and a half litre model with open four-seater body was built by Vanden Plas, and was immaculately restored by Nick who bought it in October 1991. It is estimated at around £110,000-140,000. More details of the car (and the auction) at www.Bonhams.com.
Our thanks to Roger Little for letting us know about this auction.
