Last week, US banking giant Citigroup took over the ownership of EMI, the music company where it was the major creditor. EMI, of course, is the company which Pink Floyd signed to upon turning professional in 1967, and has stayed there ever since.
Nick Mason has been talking to BBC 6 Music radio about it, and called it "sad and extraordinary", and said that "it will almost inevitably be sold off".
