Nick Mason, a regular at Goodwood, is pictured being interviewed by a Goodwood Festival of Speed media team yesterday (July 4th, 2010) as he returns to the Paddock [click thumbnail to enlarge]. He was driving a Auto Union Type D pre-war grand prix car built in 1938 with a 3.0 litre supercharged V12 engine, 420 bhp, top speed of 205mph. The car won Italian and British GP's in 1938 and 1939.
Nick told the Goodwood media team that he had enjoyed driving the car and was looking forward to driving it again on the second run in the afternoon. Nick, as ever, was happy to sign autographs and chat to the crowd.
