Prog issue 87

The new issue of the UK's Prog Magazine (issue 87) is published on Thursday (May 10th), and includes a feature on Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets amongst its pages.

The article has Nick talking at length about this newly formed band, the reasons for exploring this endeavour, and what the future might bring for the band. He also discusses the sort of material that the band will be playing in the upcoming London shows (all four of which sold out very quickly), and what sort of material they will be steering clear of - and why.

Whilst the article leads with the well known shot of the Floyd wrapped in pink sheets, there IS a picture of "the Saucers" in action during a showcase from a few months ago, giving you a first look at the band, performing at a rehearsal venue in London.

Elsewhere in the magazine, there's a major piece on Marillion's Brave album, with every band member interviewed, and a look at Procol Harum amongst a number of other artists. There's also a cover-mounted CD to listen to whilst you are reading...

You can purchase Prog Magazine, either as single issues or as a subscription, in the UK and also internationally through this direct link. Prog is also available on iPad, Google Play, Kindle and Nook.
