In UK stores from this coming Wednesday (October 15th) is the new issue - the 50th - of Prog magazine, and once you are past the rather eye-catching, if a little alarmist, cover, within its pages you'll find an interview with David Gilmour and Nick Mason, talking about the making of Pink Floyd's much-anticipated new album, The Endless River.
The publishers have pulled out the following quote: "I think we have successfully commandeered the best of what there is. I suspect this is it!" We will naturally update this story once we have the magazine in our hands, and can share more detail of what the article covers.
Elsewhere in the magazine, there's coverage of the Prog Awards and interviews with all the winners. There's also exclusive interviews with Flying Colors, Jon Anderson and Jean Luc Ponty, Anthony Phillips, Steve Rothery, Philip Selway, North Atlantic Oscillation, Anna Phoebe, Iamthemorning and Grumbling Fur. All this is housed in a special gatefold magazine cover!
You can purchase the magazine, either single issues or as a subscription, internationally through this direct link. Prog is also available on iPad, Google Play, Kindle and Nook.
