The new issue (cover date February 2012) of the US-published Guitar World magazine has a decent amount of coverage of Pink Floyd, heralded by an interesting cover picture of the band.
In the issue, David Gilmour, Roger Waters and Nick Mason tell the story behind the making of Meddle and Wish You Were Here, the two albums that book-ended their critically acclaimed masterpiece The Dark Side of the Moon. Plus, this issue of Guitar World includes a free poster of previously unseen Pink Floyd artwork by Storm Thorgerson, who designed many of the group's album covers and other imagery.
As part of their coverage of the band, they have also published an interview with Storm Thorgerson (recently extensively interviewed on Brain Damage) which is an entertaining read, and can be seen online in full here.
The magazine is available from selected US stores now, priced $7.99, or online from GuitarWorld.com. It will also be available in selected outlets across the world as an import in due course.
