Next week sees the release of two important new albums, that all Pink Floyd fans will be eager to hear. EMI and Sony have been hard at work to create innovative 'digital booklets' for the 'Introduction To Syd Barrett' and 'Metallic Spheres' (by The Orb Featuring David Gilmour) albums. They give an insight into the artwork, play samples of selected tracks, and can be used as a complement to the digital versions of the albums.

Each 'digital booklet' is very nicely done - fun to turn the package around on the screen in a 3D virtual world, and good to have the full booklets online, alongside snippets of tracks from the albums for those who want to explore a little before buying them. We hope that these are just the first of many such 'digital booklets'.
