It is with sadness that we bring you the news that Peter Martin Christopherson, aka Sleazy, passed away on November 24th, 2010, aged 55, which has stunned the music world. He became a member of the Hipgnosis design team in 1974, first as a junior assistant, then later as a joint partner.
During his time with Hipgnosis, he worked on various Pink Floyd projects such as A Nice Pair, Wish You Were Here, and Animals.
When Hipgnosis folded in 1983, he started his own video production company. His musical side was evidenced by being one of the original members of Throbbing Gristle, a founding member of Psychic TV, and formed Coil which lasted some 23 years.
Our condolences to his family and friends.
