In the heart of the Sussex countryside, in the south of England, lies Trading Boundaries. Originally opened as a furniture import business, popularity lead to adding a cafe, which then lead to a stage, and an exhibition space too. Recent performers have included Steve Hackett, Carl Palmer, Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash, Rick Wakeman and John Wetton.
Thoughout November, and in association with Hypergallery, Trading Boundaries are host to an exhibition of Hipgnosis artworks. They are displaying and selling limited edition signed prints, for the likes of Ummagumma, Wish You Were Here, Atom Heart Mother, The Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals, as well as a some of Storm Thorgerson's solo projects for the Floyd including A Momentary Lapse of
Reason and Division Bell.
This coming Friday (21st) and Saturday (22nd) they also have Pink Floyd tribute band Off The Wall performing at the venue (voted one of the top ten live music venues in the country by Prog Rock Magazine) although the Saturday night performance is now sold out.
