From Monday (August 14th) for a couple of weeks, Guy Pratt will be bringing his hilarious show to Edinburgh as part of the Scottish city's annual fringe festival.
In a revised and updated version of the show which he has toured as 'My Bass and other Animals', and 'Breakfast of Idiots', Guy has become the 'Inglourious Bassterd', with new reflections on life on the road, and in the studio, for a musician such as he. The absurdities and realities of working for people as diverse as David Coverdale, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Pink Floyd have given Guy a rich vein of stories which have to be heard to be believed.
This new iteration is at 5pm each day between August 14th - 27th (with the exception of the 21st) and entry is free! It is being held at Edinburgh's well-known Frankenstein pub, which is a really central venue - about 2 minutes walk
from the Edinburgh Museum, 1 minutes walk from the Greyfriars Bobby Statue (and
Greyfriars Kirk), and 5 minutes walk from Edinburgh Castle (thanks Scott!). If you are in the area, it's a show definitely not to be missed!
