Thursday Night Live is a set of evening events being held at the Serpentine Gallery in London's Kensington Gardens, as part of the Cultural Olympiad, an offshoot of the 2012 London Olympics. The evenings encompass live chat, comedy and music every Thursday at 7pm.
BBC London's Robert Elms will be hosting and interviewing the biggest and best-loved names from the worlds of art and entertainment to help celebrate London life in a truly awe-inspiring venue. It's a chance to get 'up close and personal' with entertainers who normally perform in much bigger arenas.
Next Thursday, August 9th, Elms will be host to Ricky Grover, Phil Cornwell, and Guy Pratt. Guy told us that he would be interviewed about his life in music, which of course includes his work with Pink Floyd and David Gilmour, he would be sharing some stories, and maybe some music too. Tickets are now on sale - cheapest are uncovered general admission, at £10, and can be bought through Eventim.
