As described by BD regular Guntmar Ploetzke last month, now open in Hannover, Germany, is the latest Gerald Scarfe exhibition, Heroes and Monsters. It covers his extensive career drawing satirical and political cartoons, alongside work for people like Pink Floyd (such as The Wall). Guntmar visited it when Gerald was also there to launch the show, and you can read his report here.
The exhibition is at the Wilhelm Busch Museum In the Georgengarten in Hannover, and is open every day (11am to 6pm) Tuesday to Sunday until October 24th, 2010. However, if you are in the area this coming Sunday (September 19th) you can catch Gerald giving a talk at the museum at 3pm. Tickets are €4,50 each, for this unmissable event. More details of the museum can be found here. Our thanks to Adrian Childs-Clarke for the info.
