The question that seemed to catch out a number of people was the (rather fiendish) "Flashman's mate!". This made reference to the filming of Pink Floyd The Wall. As many of you will be aware, it wasn't the happiest of productions, and this was in part due to the very strong personalities involved, all wanting to pull things in their direction. Director Alan Parker, at one point, commissioned caricatures by Peter Frampton, the make-up artist on the film, and one of these - printed in Gerald Scarfe's wonderful book about The Wall, published as a hardback in 2010, and last year, as a paperback - reveals the answer (which we've also heard in at least one interview). It depicts "'Flashman' [Roger] Waters the school bully and his friend Inky [Gerald Scarfe]'. Well done to all those who knew this answer!
