Unfortunately, there's another announcement courtesy of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic resulting in a change to people's plans. This morning, Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets confirmed the news that the Dublin gig, which was to start the 2020 tour, and was due to originally take place on April 29th, has now been cancelled. They had hoped, like the rest of the tour, to move it, but to no avail. On their social media this morning, they explained: "Sadly, despite our best efforts, we've had to cancel the Dublin Saucers show due to the unavailability of the venue. We worked really hard to try and fit it in to the revised tour dates, but weren't able to get a suitable available night there. If you haven't yet been contacted by whom you bought the tickets from, please go back to them for a refund." It is indeed sad news, but hopefully when the next tour is being arranged, a date in Dublin will be prominent in the band's plans. We've also had a number of emails asking what's happening about the European dates; whilst we know these are postponed, we don't have the revised dates yet. It must be an incredibly difficult job to move a tour, especially as most venues get booked very early on in normal times, even if they don't announce for many months. Thus, the venues will already have concerts lined up for many dates, so moving a tour, and keeping the route vaguely sensible, will be really tricky...
