The annual Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London normally involve creating some special merchandise for each of the shows during the week of events, all raising much needed funds for this wonderful charity.
As you know, this year's closing concert was performed by David Gilmour, and the show was praised for its quality and noted for the brief inclusion of Purple Rain within Comfortably Numb. On sale at the show were a couple of special items, with all proceeds going to the TCT (Teenage Cancer Trust).
First was a very limited edition poster - just 100 copies, signed and numbered by the artist Pete McKee. The poster design for each major artist appearing during the series of 2016 shows was created by McKee, who was also responsible for the 2016 TCT concert shirt design. The other item specific to David's show was a special black t-shirt, showing birds in flight from the Royal Albert Hall.
