The Reverend Al GreenThe legendary Reverend Al Green is guest on BBC1 TV's Friday Night with Jonathan Ross show airing tonight, and should prove of interest to Brain Damage visitors. As part of his appearance, he'll be performing the classic Let's Stay Together, with a one-off, specially recruited band to help launch Al's tour.

Alongside Al for this performance (but not the tour) will be a great line-up: David Gilmour on guitar, Jools Holland on piano, his brother Christopher on organ, Gilson Lavis on drums, Lisa Grahame and Phil Veacock on saxes, Chris Storr on trumpet, and Al's Musical Director, Barry Campbell, on bass. Quite a band! Our suspicions were raised with the sighting of David's guitar technician, Phil Taylor, at Television Centre yesterday - Jonathan's show is recorded the day before transmission.

Those in the UK (and certain regions of Europe) will be able to view the whole show on BBC1 at 10:35pm this evening, and subsequently through this direct link on the BBC's iPlayer service.
