Ben Watt - Islington, May 19th 2014As many of you know, on April 29th the album Hendra, by Ben Watt (including a guest appearance by David Gilmour was released. After twenty years in Everything But The Girl, and ten years as a respected DJ and record label boss of Buzzin' Fly, Ben Watt announced last year he was putting everything on hold to complete some long-planned creative solo projects.

Hendra is his first solo album for over thirty years, released on his own new imprint, Unmade Road through Caroline International. David Gilmour adds slide guitar and backing vocals on the track The Levels.

Ben has been performing a few shows to promote the album, and this coming Monday, May 19th, he appears at the Islington Assembly Hall, at Islington Town Hall in London. For this show, he has a few guests including Bernard Butler, and David Gilmour, who will be performing on three tracks during the evening. Tickets are still available for the show, and can be purchased through Songkick.com. If you are unable to make it along to the show, look for our report afterwards - we'll bring you full details of the event.

In the meantime, you can currently order the CD from Amazon UK as a standard or deluxe edition, Amazon.com (US), Amazon CanadaAmazon Germany, and Amazon Espana.
