Chicago / Change The World Front CoverMany of you will recall our previous news stories (most recently, April 21st) talking about David Gilmour's contribution to the Gary McKinnon campaign, to prevent his extradition to the US. Today's the day that the cover of the Graham Nash song he collaborated on, "Chicago/Change The World" (originally recorded by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young), becomes available for download. The song is a direct appeal to President Barack Obama.

Featuring the vocals, keyboards, electric guitar and bass guitar of David, the song also includes vocals from Chrissie Hynde, Bob Geldof, and Gary himself.

More details can be found at the Daily Mail website, and by making a donation (with a minimum amount of just 1p) at www.freegarymckinnon.co.uk you are redirected to the download page, giving you the song (192kb MP3) along with front and back CD covers.

Monies donated will go to support ARC (Autism Research Centre) and NAS (National Autistic Society) in their much-needed investigations into Asperger Syndrome and Autism Causes, and will also support the fight to allow Gary McKinnon to remain in the land of his birth.
