This evening at London's Roundhouse, the Classic Rock Magazine 2012 awards were held in front of an all-star audience, honouring the great and the good in the realm of classic rock.
Amongst the categories declared a short while ago, Pink Floyd won the Reissue Of The Year. This was for the Why Pink Floyd? catalogue releases, and the award was picked up this evening at the event by Nick Mason.
Elsewhere in the awards, the Film/DVD of the Year category was won by the excellent "Pink Floyd: The Story of Wish You Were Here" which covers the story behind the album. This award was also picked up by Nick, who gave what has been described as a typically witty speech on accepting these honours.
UPDATE: As the Film/DVD of the Year category was a "reader's vote" award, John Edginton, the director of "Pink Floyd: The Story of Wish You Were Here", has got in touch with us wishing to thank the many Brain Damage visitors who voted for his film.
