As you may know, the Aussie Floyd are a band with a very long history with Brain Damage, having travelled to the UK especially for our first International Fan Convention held at Wembley in 1993. We are pleased to bring you the news that they are set to return to the UK in February 2012 with a brand new show.
The series of 29 headline shows across the UK in February and March are expected to eclipse the 2011 shows, and will see the band performing in the midst of the reissue programme from Pink Floyd. Public interest in the music should therefore be at a peak, and interested fans should be aware that tickets for all the concerts go on sale tomorrow morning (June 10th) at 9am, through this direct link to Ticketmaster.
Following the sold out dates earlier this year, and taking its title from the lyrics of the Floyd classic "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", the band are not yet revealing the format of the 2012 "Exposed In The Light" tour but the scale and ambition of this band is well documented. This year saw the use of 3D film clips on the circular screen, for the first time in a concert setting, to varying reaction from audiences, so who knows what's up their sleeves for next year?
