On Saturday, August 24th, as part of Cuivres en Fête 2013, the 20th staging of a large French festival, Ron Geesin will be joining a large array of musicians in a special presentation of Atom Heart Mother. The event is being held at the Palais des Congrès du Chatelard in Saint-Junien.

Geesin, of course, co-composed the piece with the Floyd, and recently published his excellent book, The Flaming Cow: The Making of Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother. He will have some copies of the book with him, but if you are unable to make it along to the performance, you can get a signed copy of the book from Headscope.co.uk - Ron's own retail website and the only outlet which has genuine signed copies.
