Regulars to Brain Damage over the years will know that our friend Joe Ringus is a hugely talented pumpkin artist, and each year crafts a Pink
Floyd themed pumpkin for Hallowe'en (which is celebrated by many this weekend but principally tomorrow night).
Joe has finished this year's design, and we're delighted to share it with you here. Tying in nicely with the very recent Discovery, Experience and Immersion edition of the album, this year's features the Floyd's 1973 album, The Dark Side Of The Moon. Joe: "Such a simple design in theory, it's complexity can only be understood once undertaken. Food coloring was blown down the ridges to make the 'rainbow' and a gradation of skin depths created the mix between light through the prism." Click the thumbnail to the left to see Joe's hard, and careful, work in more detail.
