As many know, there are a multitude of Pink Floyd tribute bands across the world, and it is impossible for us to provide coverage of them. However, there are the odd exceptions and the Australian Pink Floyd Show, who played at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party, are one of those.
They are headlining the Liverpool Summer Pops event this year, playing on July 7th - and we've got a pair of tickets for the show to give away!
The last few years have seen the band play to almost a million fans worldwide, including their now legendary, annual, sell out shows at the Pops. The support the group has received from their ever-increasing band of Merseyside fans, since the early days, is something that the Australian Pink Floyd Show has never forgotten and the bond between the band and the crowd is said to be something very special, giving the Liverpool show a great atmosphere!
Tickets are now on sale for the show priced at £22.00 and £24.50 (with a limited amount of Gold Circle tickets available) by telephoning 0870 151 4000. Other acts already confirmed for the event include Amy Winehouse, The Pretenders, Bryan Adams, Van Morrison and Steely Dan. More details can be found at http://www.cmplive.com.
