Another date for your diary! An hour-long documentary about Pink Floyd has literally just been commissioned and will transmit in early December on BBC1 TV to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band. More details as we get them... our thanks to Sarah from the BBC for bringing us the news so quickly.
UPDATE, November 25th: The hour-long documentary is called "The Pink Floyd Story: Which One's Pink?" and airs on Wednesday, December 12th at 10:45pm (11:45pm in Northern Ireland).
The documentary is said to feature extensive archive footage, some of it rarely or never seen, alongside original interviews with the four surviving members of Pink Floyd: David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Richard
Wright and Nick Mason. It "traces the journey of a band that has only ever had five members, three of whom have lead the band at different stages of its evolution". We should have more info on this show soon...
UK Brain Damage visitors can also watch the programme via the BBC iPlayer. Although it is JUST for UK residents, it does enable
those who miss it when it is broadcast, to legally download it up to a week later, with a month for you to watch it as often as you like.
