Back in February, we told you that Tim Renwick, an old friend of David Gilmour, and a key part of Pink Floyd's touring band from 1987 onwards, had been the victim of a burglary from his studio, with an amplifier and a number of guitars stolen.
We've just had an update from Tim, with some good news: "I have got four out of seven back so far, with one more located - which will hopefully be returned soon. I received two tip-offs which lead to shops in London. Unfortunately several instruments had already been sold on! So my favourite Fender Strat and new Martin acoustic are still missing - no sign of the old Gibson amplifier either, but I'm very pleased to have the majority back. I now have steel bars at the door and windows of my studio!"
If any member of the public, or any guitar dealer, encounters the remaining missing instruments or has any information as to their whereabouts, please contact
