For all of you who have enjoyed The Section String Quartet's excellent tribute to Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon (see our review) there's some good news.

They have taken their performance of the album and other works on the road; Eric Gorfain of the quartet, who also wrote the string arrangements for the Dark Side album, recently contacted Brain Damage with news of some of their forthcoming shows.

The shows are partly to promote their new album, "no electricity required", which is released on March 23rd, and includes songs such as Radiohead's "Just", Jeff Buckley's "Grace" and the first ever recorded string version of a song by The Darkness!

Catch them at the following venues:

March 26th, Dublin, The Sugar Club, performing Dark Side Of The Moon
March 27th, Dublin, The Sugar Club, performing Radiohead's OK Computer
March 28th, Belfast, The John Hewitt Bar, performing a "Greatest Hits" show
March 31st - April 2nd, Frankfurt, Musikmesse, daily performances for Paesold Instruments
April 4th, London, The Carling Academy Islington, supporting Grant-Lee Phillips

They are also lining up some more European shows for the Autumn, hopefully to perform Dark Side Of The Moon at various venues. More information closer to the time.
