storm thorgersonTomorrow evening (Saturday, April 26th) at 6pm, the excellent UK digital radio station Planet Rock is worth tuning into via DAB, digital cable/satellite, or online. "My Planet Rocks" returns for its fifth series, with Mark Jeeves hosting another string of exclusive interviews with the Rock Gods choosing the tracks.

Tomorrow's show (repeated on Tuesday, again at 6pm) features the ever-entertaining Storm Thorgerson, talking about his long career, creating iconic artwork for the likes of Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel, Black Sabbath, and many others - most famously, of course, being Pink Floyd. Don't miss it! More details at PlanetRock.co.uk.

The station, which also hosts Guy Pratt's unmissable weekly show on Sunday nights at 7pm, was due to be closed down at the end of March as part of a larger cost-cutting exercise (now extended to the end of May), but it is now looking like the station has been saved. Negotiations are still ongoing but things are looking hopeful!
