This news story is bound to raise a smile with some, and a shudder from others! The Discoballs album, a slightly bizarre tribute to Pink Floyd by French group Rosebud, is very well known to the older Pink Floyd collector. Released in 1979 on the Warner Bros label, it featured disco versions of Floyd songs performed by Claude Engel and Jannick Top, members of the legendary French prog group Magma.

Amazingly, some 29 years later, the album is getting a reissue on August 4th, 2008, this time on CD.
