Ticket sales for the confirmed shows
that Roger Waters will be playing this summer, have been selling very
strongly, with the Berlin show almost sold out.

Tickets for the Oslo Norwegian
Wood show went on sale this morning, at 10am, and promptly sold out
within 18 minutes! The telephone lines and website for ticket sales
reportedly broke down a number of times within that period, making it a
stressful time for Roger's fans desperate to get tickets.
The shows are advertised with the
tagline of "The creative genius of Pink Floyd", and the set list is
currently expected to be a mix of Floyd classics and Roger's solo
material in the first half, followed by Dark Side Of The Moon in the
second half. Some of the shows are part of festivals, and so won't
necessarily be full shows. Despite that, we hear that many of these
festivals WILL include a full quad sound system.
The only other show that tickets
are on sale for, is the Roskilde Festival, and again reports are that
these are selling quickly.
Our thanks to Bjorn Riis, Tor Ove Torgersen and Oeyvind B. Lie for their help with this info.
As with the upcoming David
Gilmour shows, we want to give Roger's shows comprehensive coverage.
We'd love to see your comments about the shows, and any ticket scans,
pictures, reviews, set lists, newspaper reports, concert adverts,
interviews, audio, video, or anything else you come across. We've set
up a page for each show's goodies and practical information, accessed
via the Roger Waters 2006 Tour page, so keep checking back. Already put a couple of ticket scans and tour ads up on there, but we're after more. Please get in touch if you can help, too!
