The weekend edition of the UK's Financial Times has Roger Waters as the latest guest in their Lunch with the FT column. Over a plate of gravadlax, Roger talks about the background to The Wall, and the current tour of the album. Clearly relaxed, Roger talks about holidays, his early drug experiments, and his thoughts on his career pre- and post- the split from David, Nick and Richard.

He noted that "Nick and I have become close friends again, which is great. He was always my friend in Pink Floyd. So the fact we fell apart and lost contact for many years was a shame." Talking of David, he mentions the upcoming appearance on Comfortably Numb and says in a measured way: "Yeah. So he says. That'll be great. I look forward to that."
