Details of the UK Roger Waters dates on his 2007 Dark Side Of The Moon
tour, were revealed today - along with how you can buy tickets for the
shows NOW!
Roger and his band are due to
appear at the Manchester Evening News Arena on May 7th, the National
Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham on May 8th, and London's Earls
Court on May 11th. With the exception of the Birmingham show (which
starts at 7pm), the shows start at 8pm.
As with tickets for the Hyde Park
Calling concert last July, the promoters LiveNation - through their
TicketRush service - have started pre-sale of tickets for all three
shows, from 9am this morning (which took us somewhat by surprise!).
Public sale of the tickets starts on Friday (November 3rd) at 9am
through www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
To get ahead of the inevitable rush for tickets on Friday, you need to register (which is free of charge) with www.ticketrush.co.uk
and once signed up, you'll be able to purchase your choice of tickets
for these shows. Tickets cost from £30 - £50 plus booking fees.
Needless to say, tickets are selling well through this route!
More dates and details of Roger's
2007 tour to follow, as we get them. There are a number of other dates
we have but these HAVEN'T been confirmed and until they are, we see
little value in posting them here. We're confirming a few dates with
Roger's management and hope to be able to bring these to you shortly.
