Our many Polish friends have got a treat coming up. Make plans to be at your local Multikino on January 18th - or miss out on a special Pink Floyd evening!
At 7pm, the Multikino cinemas in Warszawa, Poznań, Kraków, Gdańsk, Szczecin, Zabrze, Bydgoszcz, and Elbląg will be showing the PULSE film in full.
PULSE was recorded at London's Earls Court in October 1994, and is a recording of one of the final shows on the Division Bell tour. Of course, one of the highlights of the film is Dark Side Of The Moon in its entirety!
Tickets are priced at 15zł, unless you hold a Multikino card or are a member of Club Nokia, where it reduces to 10zł. From the look of the following advert, this includes a free Coke!
Having been fortunate enough to be at the PULSE press launch, BD saw an edited version of PULSE in a cinema setting, and it was quite something. Certainly this seems to be a screening not to be missed.
Our thanks to Marek for the info on this rather unusual screening. And before you write, we don't know of any other countries which will be following suit. Looks like the Polish branch of EMI are running it as a special treat for that country, and it is not something that EMI International are handling.
