We have today been passed information on the second and third set of maquettes (figures) in the Pink Floyd The Wall series, produced under licence from Roger Waters by Stevenson Entertainments.
The first set, released last year, proved a popular set with many, and there was much speculation as to what future sets may bring. Here's the current line-up of each set:
Box set 2:
"Based on the legendary film PINK FLOYD: THE WALL, this series of figural Maquettes (statues) bring some of the film's most memorable characters to life in 3D. Each Maquette comes with an interlocking Wall base that can be fit together with other bases to form a large wall. The Maquettes are approximately 6 inches tall and the bases are 7 inches wide! This Series 2 case of individually packaged Maquettes includes: Flowers, Soldier, Drone School Boy, Jester and Mother. (Subject to change)"
Box set 3:
"This Series 3 case of individually packaged Maquettes (size details as before) includes: Evil Flowers, Drone School Girl, Primitive Man, Gas Mask Human, and Mouth. (Subject to change)"
Some strange sounding figures there, the most obvious inclusion being the "Mother" figure in set 2. We don't have any pictures of these yet, but are currently awaiting more info from Stevenson.
UPDATE May 25th 2004
With thanks to Lou, at Stevenson, we have an update for you: the information above is not the finalised set of figures to be found in the box sets, but assumptions made on certain information received at online retailers. Lou has promised us full information with photos of each maquette just as soon as it is ready... so keep tuned!
