An online game inspired by Pink Floyd's "The Division Bell" has become the subject of a documentary film. The soundtrack for "Stoners" comes entirely from the 1994 album and the band has, unusually, provided music rights for the worldwide festival circuit.

The movie follows dedicated fans of "The Stone", an enigmatic puzzle launched on the internet in 1998 which continues to absorb and intrigue. The 75 minute film chronicles the rise and fall of the company behind the game, and delves into the mysterious links it has to a conspiracy-laden "enigma" (Publius, anyone?).

Aboriginal filmmaker Rod Bruinooge, who co-directed Stoners with Scott Jaworksi, contacted Brain Damage with information concerning the film, which they hope to have screened at various festivals throughout the US and Europe over the course of the year. A trailer for the film can be seen at the Stoners website.
