[Story updated - release slightly delayed] Due to be published this month, "Pink Floyd Revealed" by Ian Shirley is a new hardback book that takes "a no-holds-barred look at how they achieved their mega success". Organized by year, it is said to cover all the major events in their long career accompanied by a large number of images of the band.
We understand that it is a "coffee-table" type publication (so, large format), with a number of unusual pictures gracing its 200 pages. It's not the first "Revealed" book that Flame Tree have brought out; their similar treatment of Led Zeppelin is a glossy, well-presented affair, that bodes well for the Floyd version. We're hoping to be able to bring you a review of this shortly; in the meantime, it can be pre-ordered (and at up to 30% discount on the recommended price!) at Amazon UK, Amazon.com, Amazon Canada, Amazon Germany, or Amazon France.
