We have another update on the remastered version of Pink Floyd's The Final Cut for you... Firstly, Capitol Records have reported that the US version is having the release date put back until April 4th - EMI have confirmed to us that the UK version is still on track for the 22nd.
The other bit of news comes to us from a few sources - and is that the bonus track, "When The Tigers Broke Free", is inserted into the album running order in two places. Now, in the film of The Wall, the song was similarly split, which lends some credence to this. It appears that the first part splits "One Of The Few" and "The Hero's Return", and the second part wraps up the album. We are waiting for a definitive track listing and running time from our friends at EMI to clarify the situation.
On a related note, it would be nice if the full version of "The Hero's Return was included on this new version of the 1983 album... our fingers are crossed!
