Our latest competition takes a look back through time to the summer of 1975, when Pink Floyd performed their sole UK date for that year in front of an agog audience at Knebworth Park, in Hertfordshire.
The show saw support from acts as diverse as Captain Beefheart, Roy Harper, and Monty Python star Graham Chapman, before the Floyd kicked their set off with a Spitfire fly past.
The promoter, Freddy Bannister, and his wife Wendy, have put together a special offer package for Brain Damage visitors, of a reproduction programme from the event, and the t-shirt which the roadies wore for the show. Both can be bought for the special price of £14.99 plus postage, rather than the normal price of £20.40 plus postage. And, they've given us one of these packages for a lucky BD visitor to win in our latest competition!
More details of the combined package, and the other items which they sell commemorating other concerts and festivals they promoted for the likes of Led Zeppelin and Genesis, can be found at www.RockMusicMemorabilia.com. The t-shirts themselves [click the thumbnail to the left to see the shirt design in more detail] come in all sizes from Small to XXXL, and anyone interested should contact Wendy at
