Further to our news item last month about the official 2006 Pink Floyd calendar, we have had an update
from the company producing it. The calendar will not be ready for another three to four weeks, as the band have requested some image changes to include Live 8 shots.
We know that many of you liked the official 2005 Pink Floyd calendar, which was designed by Storm Thorgerson and commemorated the 30th anniversary of the release of Wish You Were Here (a copy of which can even be seen on the wall in the Floyd's management office!).
The same company who produced that calendar, are continuing the trend with a 2006 design, again by Storm, which currently focuses on the legendary Dark Side Of The Moon design he created with George Hardie. As with last year's, the calendar is a large format, glossy colour production, featuring twelve separate images.
Orders for the 2006 calendar are currently being taken at Amazon through our special links. A limited number of the 2005 calendars are still available from Amazon. You can also get the calendar from the
Pyramid Posters website.
